Our thermowell assembly conveniently attaches to and detaches from any standard 3/4˝ or 1/2˝ tri-clamp connection. Used in conjunction with a thermocouple temperature recording device, the thermowell puts the probe in contact with container or bottle contents while maintaining the integrity of the sanitary tri-clamp seal. The thermocouple, when removed, can interface with a PC and display a temperature reading history, while the bottle or container with thermowell can be autoclaved for sanitary re-use. Eagle Stainless bottles or containers fitted with a thermocouple/ thermowell can be shipped inside a UN/DOT Hardigg case to retard temperature change (see page 24 for more information).
