Custom Modifications / Engineering Services

All Eagle containers can be custom modified to your specifications. We offer a variety of fittings, features, and options and can create custom solutions in our full-service machine and finishing shop. Electropolishing and laser engraving are available for any of our stainless products.

While we have built an extensive inventory of products that meet many of our customers’ current needs, there are often situations that call for a unique approach. We have a long history of creating individualized solutions for specific challenges and welcome the opportunity to create and manufacture a custom design for you as well. The range of available modifications is virtually without limit. From hoppers and cone tops, to cap assemblies, handles, dimensional adjustments, and welding modifications, Eagle can add functionality to any of our containers. Where high precision welds are required, a welding lathe with a laser seam tracker is used to weld the parts.	A spot welder is used to spot weld some parts onto the larger vessels.	This Automatic Rotating Positioner is used to weld a flange to the vessel.

Listed below are some examples of our custom modifications.

ANSI Flange Custom Seed-hopper made from 12 gauge 316L stainless and 12 Ra electropolished surface finish. Connected by two 4˝ TC fittings, vessel also has 0.5˝ FNPT inlet on the top-right side, and ANSI 150 flange connection at bottom of hopper. Hoppers & Cone Tops: Cone tops, with tri-clamp or other style fittings, for the CTL Series Containers, which use a lock-lever/ squeeze-ring band clamp for an air/ water-tight seal. Available in a wide range of sizes, cone top container lids come standard in a 12 Ra surface finish, or an optional 12 Ra electropolished finish for use with the finest of powders. Inverted by a drum-lifter or manually and with a butterfly valve attached, the hopper/cone is ideal for dispensing fine powders or other bulk product.
NPT Fittings: Standard vessel with CTH Series clip-down lid and two 1/2˝ FNPT fittings welded, ground, and polished.	Custom Cone Bottom Mixing Vessel: Custom 3.0L cone bottom mixing vessel with legs fitted with an air actuated butterfly valve for discharge.	Custom Dome Top Vessels: Two 20L custom dome top and dished bottom vessels. 4.0˝ sanitary opening, and 1.0˝ sanitary diaphragm valve.
Custom 5.0L Vessel: Custom 5.0L vessel, dish bottom, 6.0˝ sanitary opening with two 0.75˝ sanitary ports on lid and one 0.5˝ sanitary drainage port in the bottom. Detachable custom stand.	Jacketted Vessels: One 2.0L, one 5.0L custom jacketed vessel with three 0.75˝ sanitary ports on its shoulder. One 0.25˝ diptube. 0.5˝ inlet and outlet ports on jacket.	Custom Vessel with Sanitary Ports: Custom vessel with a 2˝ sanitary port on top and 4˝ sanitary port on bottom.
Sanitary Custom 20L Vessel: Custom 20L vessel with 8˝ sanitary opening and 0.5˝ sanitary sampling port.	Custom Container : Standard 30L container with 2˝ sanitary port on lid and 0.5˝ Swagelok® sampling valve on the side bottom. Custom stand to elevate the vessel.	Custom Conical Vessel: Custom 50L conical vessel with a 4˝ sanitary opening and solid bar handles.
Custom 3.0L and 2.0L Vessels: Custom 3.0L and 2.0L vessels with pressure clipdown lid and sampling port. Solid bar swinging handles.	Custom Cone Top Vessel: Standard 70L vessel with a custom cone top. 6˝ sanitary opening and two 4˝ sanitary ports on the shoulder.	Custom Buckets: 30L and 20L custom buckets with spout and swinging handles. 0.5˝ sanitary port on side bottom.
Custom Reducers: Custom reducer, 4˝ to 3˝ sanitary opening. One 1.5˝ sanitary port on the side.	Custom Configuration of Options and Fittings: • Cap Assemblies • Machined Caps • Fittings	Loose Lid Drums: ST Series, loose-lid drum shown has been fabricated with hopper-bottom. Cones in standard 12 Ra finish or optional 12 Ra electropolished finish. Container is shown with a butterfly valve for the easy dispensing ofpowders, solids, or other bulk product.
Custom Stands: Stands can be fabricated for your containers to allow for access to the bottom of the container, for any outlets or valves, and to position the vessel at a comfortable working level.	Tri-Clamp Ferrule: The CTL 565 container (150L) shown here has a 3/4˝ tri-clamp ferrule welded to the side of the container near the bottom.	Dome Tops: Dome-top CTL Series, lock-lever/ squeeze ring container with dish-bottom and skirt. Dome lid has both a 2˝ and a 3/4˝ tri-clamp fitting and container has solid bar sanitary handles.
Hopper Container with Dome Lid: Heavy-duty flange and wing nut closure. Hopper has a wide array of tri-clamp fittings on the dome lid for inlets, diptubes, mixer-shaft and sightglass. Hopper also has an extrawide 3˝ tri-clamp connection at the bottom for optimal content dispensing.	Dome-Lid: Dome-lid has two 3˝ tri-clamp fittings and four 1˝ tri-clamp fittings welded straight up. Whether tri-clamp, Swagelok, or Ingold fittings, all welds are ground, polished, and seamless, without pits or crevices.	Tri-Clamp Fittings: The CTH-SMA Series container here has a wide array of fittings welded onto it; two 4˝ TC fittings on the side, one 4˝ TC fitting welded on the lid, one .75˝ TC fitting on the lid, and one 1˝ TC fitting on the bottom.
Dish-Bottom Container: Dish-bottom container set inside custom stand with forklift channels. Viatec sanitary flush valve is clamped onto dish-bottom. Tri-clamp connection for container drainage. Mixer mounting plate and lid with handles are also features of this vessel.	Stainless Cap Assemblies with Coil: BTB-27 bottle shown here is equipped with custom-fitted cap assembly with 316L stainless coil and .75˝ TC connections. Hot water or coolant travels through the coil for a most direct means of heat (or cold) transfer to the bottle’s contents. Also shown are essential accessories: diptubes, sightglass, gaskets, and clamps.	Stainless Container Jackets: Custom jacketed container with 3/4˝ bottom port, 1/4˝ NPT with jacket for inlet and outlet. The lid consists of one 4˝ port, two 2˝ ports, two 1-1/2˝ ports, and two 1/2˝ female NPTs.
Dome-Top Bioreactor: Dome-top bioreactor with heavy duty flange and high-pressure wing nut closure. Dome-fittings welded at an angle for optimal mixing. Ingold fittings on container side also welded at an angle and seamless. Asepco zero dead leg ball-valve welded onto container’s dished bottom for drainage.	CTH Container: CTH Series container shown here is connected to a peristaltic pump and has a biomixer mounted on top. Other items include a sightglass, sterile air filter, and a container stand.	Bottles with Heating Belts: BTB-27 bottle shown here is equipped with two removable silicone-rubber heating belts, available in standard sizes or custom fit to customer specifications. Available with adjustable thermostat.
BTB-21 Modified: BTB-21 with solid bar handle, custom modified with a 1˝ shoulder port, 1- 1/2˝ side bottom port, and 1-1/2˝ bottom port with a diaphragm valve.	Dome-Top Dish-Bottom Bioreactors: Heavy duty flange and wing nut closure. Dome-top has 2˝ TC fittings welded straight up and large 6˝ TC fitting for product entry. Container has 4 legs with braces, phenolic nonmarking wheels, and stainless casters.	BTB Bottle with two 2” sanitary flanges on the shoulder and cap assembly with 1/2" fill, Vent, and dip tube.
CTL Container: welded with a custom mounting bracket 180 degree apart.
